We offer a complete website and online e-commerce store development service including requirements analysis, design, implementation, content authoring, photography, video, search engine optimisation, hosting, domains and ongoing maintenance.
These days many website owners want to edit their site’s content themselves. Our advanced Content Management System (CMS) makes it as easy as using a word processor, as shown in the image opposite – click it to enlarge.
We developed the CMS ourselves so we can customise every aspect of it to your exact requirements. Thanks to its “plug-in” design, we can quickly and easily add features such as blogs, slideshows, zooming images, news pages, online shops, booking forms and membership systems to your site. We can also develop bespoke features to make your site stand out from the crowd.
Sitemaps used by Google and other popular search engines can be generated automatically ensuring your site is fully indexed at all times.
For the technically minded our CMS is written in PHP5, is completely object-oriented, runs off a MySQL database, uses the Smarty template engine and produces 100% standards compliant XHTML. In fact we used it to develop this very website.

The page content is written and maintained by the customer.
Background: 2day Microportals provides locally focused websites to communities, churches and other organisations across the UK.
Project: Take over ongoing maintenance and development of the existing system. So far this has involved migration to a network of dedicated servers, development of new templates and addition of new features in the back-end code. In total the sites receive around 12 million page views per month.
